Work on the Backend is complete!

After months of work, the High/Low team has officially finished the Backend! For those of you who aren't familiar with the term, here's what "backend" means: Our app is split into two main parts: the frontend and the backend.

The backend is everything that happens behind the scenes, up in the cloud. This includes storing your highlows and other information, tracking your progress each day, sending you notifications, etc.

The frontend, on the other hand is everything you see: the buttons and graphics and other content. The iOS and Android apps are the frontend.

Finishing the backend is a huge step toward launching High/Low. It doesn't look like much, but it really matters a lot in the end. Who would like an app that couldn't even let you sign up?

Finally though, we are starting work on the frontend. We're still currently in the design phase, but we're far enough along to show you some screenshots that give you a general idea of how the app should feel.

And please feel free to tell us if you have any suggestions by heading over to the contact page! You, our potential users, are the biggest priority, so we would love to hear what you think would look good!

And now for the screenshots:

We've done our best to incorporate colors and gradients we've been using thus far into a welcoming UI design. We're also looking into ways of improving our UX and navigation methods to present an easy-to-use, intuitive app.

We hope to begin work on both the iOS and Android apps as soon as possible!
