Sometimes, the things that bring us the most joy come from places we don't expect. As it turns out, we're often really bad at knowing what we want. We work our entire lives chasing something, and then when we get it we may find that it doesn't make us nearly as happy as we thought it would.
But, along the way, sometimes we come across other things that bring us joy - detours - which may even make us wish it were our main path and not a step off the road. Often, when we've come to our destination, we have to look back to see the things that really matter to us - and sometimes, you'll realize the best things come from the places that you thought you were finished with.
