"Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear." -George Addair
When we're trying to accomplish our goals, there's two things that most often come against us: things we can't control, and fear of things we can't control. There will always be things we can't control - in fact, there's very, very little that we can really say we have control over - sometimes we can't even seem to control ourselves!
But that doesn't mean we should run from them for fear of what they might do to us. There are some things that are right to be afraid of, of course, and it's always good to be prudent.
Unfortunately, sometimes we let those fears take the driver's seat, and it prevents us from doing what we need to do (or causes us to do what we shouldn't). A lot of the time, we're afraid of silly things.
As it turns out, much of the time those fears are the only things holding us back from moving forward.
Maybe it's time to reevaluate some of your fears. Are they helping you stay safe, or are they keeping you paralyzed?
